Everyone has to start their careers somehow, and building a proper portfolio is important in any career field. Here at Tall Trees we want to help make building your modeling portfolio easier.
- First, it's important to pick the market that you want to model for. If you are 5'8 or taller you'll probably want to go for a fashion market, but if you happen to be petite a more commercial market might be the better fit.
- Next, Use photographs in your portfolio that show the different age ranges that you can play, and be sure that you are dressed age appropriate.
Your Modeling Portfolio should consist of:
- 6-12 AMAZING photographs. Be sure to focus on quality, not quantity. This includes the print style of the photos - don't skip out on good quality printing.
- Average size portfolios are 8.5x11, however New York agencies prefer 11x14, and Miami prefers 5x7.
- Photos should show a variety of black and white as well as color photographs.
