Portraits

Tall Trees Photography enjoys taking Portraits: according to Webster's a Portrait is: a noun- a pictorial representation of a person usually showing the face.

I take portraits but they have more excitement and personalization to them then the definition in Webster's dictionary.

At my studio I have a modest camera room that hosts a handmade 1800's stain glassed window, this is ideal when the weather isn't, also great for Seniors, small families, commercial head shots. For bigger groups and a more natural setting; I enjoy location photography, I feel that it makes you more comfortable and more natural and not so posed and stiff. There are a few places here in Greenwood that are my fav's but I also am up for suggestions, such as your farm, your favorite park, and etc. 

If you want me to photograph you and your family in your home, their are some items that need to be addressed. If the room that I am photographing your family in is too small to accommodate the lighting that I use, or the lenses that I use, I will shoot to my best applied skills and ability and equipment. I will work my best to create for you a portrait to enjoy.

With this said, I do enjoy location shooting, and often if you require your home in the portrait, it works wonderfully as a backdrop rather than being part of your shot. 

Outdoor settings are my preference, but upon our consultation with you we can address all of these issues and agree upon the best location for your portrait and family shoots.
